The list of the Constitutional Committee members proposed by the Speaker of the Legislative Sejm of Poland in agreement with parliamentary clubs. It was approved in the Sejm session.
The list contains 103 members of the Constitutional Committee that are divided into parties and organizations. The Polish United Workers’ Party had the strongest representation – 24 members, the United Peasants’ Party – 17, the Democratic Party – 10, Klub Katolicko-Społeczny – 2, the Central Council of Trade Union – 8, the Polish Youth Union – 4, Związek Samopomocy Chłopskiej – 2, the Women’s League – 6, the voivodeship national councils were represented by 13 persons, cooperative – 2, world of science – 10, culture and art – 5. The committee was also composed of science and art representatives: Józef Chałasiński, Stefan Rozmaryn, Leon Kruczkowski, Zofia Nałkowska, Stefan Żółkiewski and others.
