Cracow Salt-Works Museum in Wieliczka - one of the biggest mining museums in Europe.

The purpose of this museum is to restore and preserve the history and rich culture of Polish Jews that was created before the Holocaust. This subject matter was not discussed for the last half-century, and has therefore been partially forgotten.

The basic objective of the Museum consists in preservation and maintenance of the existing camp objects, collection, scientific study and publication of materials on the history of the camp and its branches, and the Lublin Region during World War II, as this region played a major role in the long-range political-economic plans of the Nazi Germany.
