Famous football coach dies at 85

The most successful Polish football coach, Kazimierz Gorski, died today.

He was credited with starting the golden age of Polish football in the 1970s and early 1980s. His team, known as "Gorski’s Eagles" won the gold Olympic medal in Munich in 1972, silver Olympic medal in Montreal in 1976 and third in the World Football Championships in 1974.
