The Gazeta Polska daily has accused the TVN commercial network of conspiring against the conservative government of Law and Justice with the former military intelligence.
The newspaper claims that together they planted a bug in a room where a conservative politician met with an opposition MP. Last week TVN aired the secret tapes of the meeting which showed the politician asking Self defence deputy Renata Beger what she wanted for switching sides.
Gazeta Polska claims that the programme director of TVN was a former military intelligence collaborator. In a televised press conference head of the Law and Justice parliamentary club Marek Kuchcinski said that the TVN is the mouthpiece of the opposition centrist Civic Platform .
The TVN station has directed the matter to court. Meanwhile Gazeta Polska has refused to give any information on how it came by the revelations which lead to publishing the article about alleged connections of TVN director with the military intelligence.
Today's edition of the paper which front-paged the article, failed to appear in full number in national distribution due to a mistake of an employee of the distributor.
