2010-08-27, 15:32
Polish EXPO pavilion beats another record. On the 119th day of Shanghai World Expo 2010 Polish exposition was visited by the 5 millionth guest.

Polish pavilion is visited by almost 60 thousand people every day. It’s many times more it was expected before the exhibition had started – says Sławomir Majman, General Commissioner of Polish Section EXPO 2010. “What’s important, is that 5 million Chinese people got to know what is Poland like. But equally important is the fact, that after 4 months of Shanghai World Expo, Poland is being mentioned as one of the most important and the biggest European countries, together with Germany, France and Great Britain” – Majman aded.

But Polish EXPO exposition is something more than just a distinctive pavilion. Since the beginning of World Expo, there have been over 100 cultural and economic events conducted to promote our country in China. “We are characterized by enormous diversity of offers – starting from science conference, through economic round tables to performances of Polish rappers” – says Sławomir Majman.

Shanghai World Exposition will continue until the end of October.
